Writing a first book is a step that requires looking to the past, understanding previous cycles and the process. This book speaks of three years of cycling trips in the mountains of the world but it speaks above all of three years of personal research and quests, in order to understand the engine of a life. Little by little, traveling has become a way of life, even before cycling, a rich life inspired by experiences and encounters, the very essence of this adventure is evolving. Trials reveal purity of character and little by little the truth. Travels have followed one another, this book retraces this pursuit of freedom through the paths of the world, to meet pleasure but also challenges. I never wanted to become a traveler, to go around the world or to become a mountain bike reporter. I think I was just looking for the path that most resembles me, I was looking to figure things out on my own. Things happened naturally because they were the result of a simple and logical path. It was natural that I started to share my stories and the feedback helped me to go further. When I entered the world of cycling I received a lot of support from the public and the media, giving me confidence and energy. My career in cycling is a different path that shakes up a lot of standards, as always when you invent you have to make sacrifices and keep confidence. I am happy to have lived all these adventures, happy to have managed to keep my line of conduct to push my search for truth and freedom to the fullest, but I am even happier to be able to share it thanks to this book. This book is intended for those who supported and helped me, practitioners, readers. All those who helped me keep my confidence and who will, I hope, be happy to read these adventures. I am very happy to show a simple vision of travel and life, hoping to inspire the desire to travel, on a bicycle because it is a fantastic vehicle!
